Hi Everyone,

Please suggest a simple tool to monitor the utilization of a T1 line in Meridian. Would also like to know if the utilization numbers are available as an SNMP id.

Thanks.

You need to enable traffic reporting. You will need to enable Customer Report 2 (TFC002). It will give counts on number of inbound/outbound, CCS, All trunks Busy etc. It's pretty archaic, but unless you want to spend money on a commercially available package its all you can do. Look at the Software Features Guide, Traffic Reporting for details.

There is not an SNMP id available.

I believe those utilization numbers can only be retrieved through a TTY session. I was hoping that I could extract those numbers through the ethernet interface, through SNMP.

Thanks.

If you can, let me know. I have a spreadsheet that you can dump the traffic info into and it comes out looking like the nice and pretty spreadsheets you pay for.

I just need to get the script that will automatically pull the info from the pbx and I'm set for auto traffic study all the time.
