Under the Security log in event viewer on Windows 2000 Server, there are no logs of when and where users log on to the domain.

On my old NT Server, which has now been removed from the network, you could see who was logging on and off the network.

Under the properties of the security log on the 2000 Server, I have selected everything to be audited, and all I get are entries from other servers on the network, not client machines.

you need to set the group policy for the active directory to log logon/log off events and directory services events
