I have been asked to find a way to track our T1 usage off our CS1000m (Meridain I prefer).
I am trying to go through some reports on OTM, possibly
"traffic anayliss". Not really seeing anything jumping out at me.

Can someone point me in the right direction.
CS1000e ver 5.5
TM 3.2

Thanks

you can setup traf in ld 2, do you have a schedule going?

I am sorry, new to this.
I am not sure what would be a good schedule? I would like to run reports daily.
I know in other loads I can do a prt (print) can I do this in LD 2 to see if traf is setup?

LD 2 spits it out every hours but unless you have some CDR software I don't think you can save it, you have to actually see it on the screen every hour

you can manually request the print every hour also.

If this is just a one off request, you can ask your carrier to do a trunk analysis for you. Typically, they will monitor for a week, then send you the results. This would normally include calls in, calls out, peak call times etc. Your rep should ask you the right questions to make sure they get the info you really want. The nice thing about getting the telco to do this is that if calls are being blocked on your inbound, they can tell you that, OTM cannot see what is not getting to it.
If this is an ongoing thing you need to have, OTM should give you the information you want from the PBX side. You need to make sure all the trunks are entered in to the database correctly then you should be able to either set up or use the "canned" reports to get the information. I have not used OTM in years, so I could not tell you how to check to see if the data is in there or not.

You don't have to go to LD 2 and set it up..TM will do it for you if your TM is set-up for Ethernet connection to the PBX.
