Need to be able to monitor several routers via a centralized monitroing software system. Have used GFI Network Server Monitor for servers, Windows-type queries and basic connectvity monitoring. It can do SNMP GET queries - but need some help identifying critical OIDs for it. Can anyone suggest a good resource for this? Or have any suggestions on better software for monitoring Cisco devices? Anyone used Servers Alive?

mrtg free or prtg paid but cheap.

solarwinds has some nice products a reasonable prices.
Fluke has a nice sweet for under 10,000 that does network analysis and server/protocol monitoring too..

Then of course there is are the HP,sun, netcool,or concord products that are priced out of this world..

Thanks for the reply. Noticed the PRTG one last night - they do one called IPCheck that seems to have the alerting features in it - I'm going to look at that one. Anny ideas on easiest / best resources for picking out a handful of good, general interface state and other OIDs for monitoring?
