I am trying to find a way to monitor occurance of deadlocks and the count of the occurances in the database without having to parse the trace file. Does anyone have or know of a script that will enable me having connected to the database whether locally or remotely, run the query to check/find out if any deadlocks have occured and if yes, how many?

Thanks
