We have just acquired a DL380 G3, with a 5i/532 Raid controller. We are running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.
Using the web front-end of the Array Controller Utility (cpqacuxe) we can see the raid controller and how the disks are configured. From here we can also, it seems, tell that the disks are OK.
My question is; can we get a report of this information run from the command line, for daily monitoring, and if not, how would be know (without explicitly looking) if a disk has failed. The server will be located offsite with no one to watch it closely).
Thanks
Martyn Hodgson
