Monitoring extensions

I am new to Shoretel, I have a question about monitoring extensions. If you put a monitor extension button on your phone and you are monitoring a person that has their line appearing more than once on their phone how can you tell how many calls they have in place or can you?

I'm coming from a environment where everyone had their main extension and then a set of rollove extensions. You could have all of them appear on several phones so you could tell which lines were active.

Also, is there a way to see the caller ID info when a call comes into the set you are monitoring?
 
Are you wanting this information to appear on the phone or on Call Manager?
 
On the phone. At the moment we have not been given the green light to deploy call manager.
 
You could add button boxes to see if people are on the phone. I would suggest using the Call Manager.
