In pre-OSX systems, you could view connected appleshare users. Can this be done with OSX sharing services?

I just allowed my Mac to venture outside of my LAN. I set up a new user account so that a coworker can log into my machine via FTP. The account works fine but I wanted to know if it is possible to monitor who is logged into the Mac at any given time. There is no need to know what directories/files are being accessed (although that would be cool). I just want to know if someone is connected.

If anyone cares...

I found 'Konfabulator' and the 'knockknock' widget to show what net connections are active. The 'NetPulse' widget also displays bandwidth usage.

...still looking for an Apple OS function to natively pull this off...
