Good day! Is there a monitor function on the Call Manager? On most PBX's there is which can constantly monitor the status/condition of a device in real time.
Thank you!

Yes there is. You need to configure the button on the monitoring phone as a BLF speed dial key and you can monitor the status of the remote phone.

I'm sorry I wasn't clearer on my request. I meant from a technical view can a phone be monitored. Things like going off hook, digits dialed, the station/trunk/route connected to, forwarding status etc. This is typical on many legacy PBX's out there but wonder if it's an option on a Call Manager.

No not natively. You could do it though with a third party product or a packet sniffer.

We just use Attendant Console but obviously this info is gathered from lists of department names in the account pages so its good for admin teams to know if they can put a call through or not.
