Monitor tone disable

How do you disable the tone to monitor an extension for security reasons.
 
Thanks,I tried that an it did not work,I also checked 15103 and 15104 and they were programmed correctly.
 
08>259 is for ACD/UCD applications. If your application is barge in, then your only option is 08>045>0 = tone sent only 1 time VS. every 4 seconds.
 
I found this definition in an NEC document.
The tone produced by the PBX for Call Monitor and Executive Override features is generated only once at the initial execution of the feature. The tone can be removed with CM 08>259 but cannot be set to play at intervals during the call connection.
 
Thanks again,I will try this in the morning. FYI we dial an extension and this press 1 or the button we have as Voice Talk.
 
You have described a voice call. That will always give a tone burst to the receiving party. That is different than a barge in/monitor call. You cannot eliminate the voice call tone burst.
