Hi,

Can someone tell me which performance counters I have to activate to monitor the load of a domain controller? Our customer would like to know the actual load of their domain controllers to be able to scale them for the future.

Kind regards,
Werner

WDK- I am starting this same process on my servers and wondering what I should monitor.

Have you made any progress on this? If so, what did you decide to monitor?

thanks,

Quest Software has a great product called Spotlight for Active Directory (they actually have it for most Microsoft products). It will graphically show you just about every metric you need to see, and expains what you are looking at. The demo is fully functional (at least it used to be). It should also be able to show you your replication schema from the KCC to boot.

It's a great product.
