Monitor screen - distorted

I cannot see left-most icons and start button, and right most icons from the screen. The windows opened are distorted in the middle. How can I fix this? Please help me out.

Can you access the monitors On Screen Display

If so you need to adjust the setting on your monitor startign with the picture size.

Try another monitor, this will seperate a monitor problem from system problems.
