Monitor resolution in RHL 7.3

We recently did a refresh of monitors and I'm trying to install a HP L1902 TFT LCD monitor on my system running RHL 7.3. The only resolution I can get is 640x800. Anyone know how I can force it to go to a higher resolution?

The video card is a Matrox G4 Millenium dual-head and it's in a Compaq Evo W6000 workstation.

I had a similar problem on 7.3 not too long ago. I think I dropped to init 3, and ran XFconfig (of XFree86), something to that effect (I don't run RH at home, so I'm not completely sure). Once I chose a display adapter and monitor it asked for possible resolutions. I chose 1024x768,800x600,and 640x480.

We're still running text only, but startx comes up to 800x600 now.

Thanks for the help. I ended up solving the problem by logging in from another linux box and editing the XF86Config file to look the same as the other machines with the appropriate changes for the monitor. A quick reboot and I now have 1280x1024.
