Monitor recommendation?

Hi all,
This may be the wrong forum for this but I'm hoping to get some advice. I'm the "official" tech guy for my wife, who uses Photoshop a lot. She has been using a NEC Multisync FE991SB but it is starting to die. Are there recommended CRT (or LCD) monitors for PS users?
Btw she has a Spyder calibration tool which she uses to keep the NEC calibrated properly.

I've always gone with NEC Monitors.

NEC has always made the most advanced monitors which is evident whenever you visit any computer show, the predominant monitor used seems to be NEC by far.

NEC usually costs a bit more but I feel the quality is worth it.

Still the best way to make a decision is to visit a few retailers, ask questions about quality, price and warranty and look at what they have to offer.
