Hello all, and thanks for reading.

ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP video card

Have tried numerous monitors, and numerous PC's - however the RAM has been the same (possible culprit)

Two Compaqs have been tried with essentially the same set up on both. Nothing but CPU, fans and speakers hooked up. Monitor will come out of sleep mode only to say no video signal. Everything else on both machines and both monitors checks out. I am using 3 32MB PC100 modules. Do I have bad RAM, no enough RAM, or am I missing something else?

Thanks again.

The RAM works in two other machines with no issues. Also have tried replacing batteries, to no avail.

From you messages I don't see if you are trying to debug your monitor, your video card, or your motherboard?

From what you say the system does not boot. Assuming that there is a speaker/buzzer connected, does it beep at power up?

Are the monitors working with other machines? Can you try the video card in other machines? Do you have information about the type of memory that is supported in this machine.

Have you had the pc running at all?
