Monitor Problems

The problem is this:

I'm doing a presentation which will be shown on a 42" plasma screen monitor. I'm doing all the animation on a laptop, but when I test it on the 42" screen, everyones head is stretched (which is understandable). Is there anyway I can let Flash know what type of monitor I'm on so that it can correct the problem i.e. stop everyone from having blockheads.
Or...are there any programs/plugins which do this? I'll probably ask Macromedia themselves, and if I do I'll post what they say...

I'd design with the target aspect ratio in mind. I've done a few of these plasma presentations and here's what I did - maybe it'll work for you too...

Set up your movie in the modify movies menu so that it's widescreen (16:9 ratio - 800 by 450 pixels) and work within the "letterbox" when you're building it up on your laptop.

That way your final results will look good on the platform they're intended for.
