monitor power save mode

helo,
monitor is going to power save mode on computer running win2k. i want it to be ON all da time. i changed all settings including power management, screen saver settings etc. but still it's goin to power save mode. any suggestions

1. Sometimes you need to set values using the monitor buttons to turn off its "Power Save" features.

2. Update the Monitor driver, or revert to a non-plug and play definition.

I asked the same question here many months ago. The responses I got all basically said "you can't" - at least, not unless you want to mess with modifying the circuit boards of the monitor itself...

thanks for ur suggestions. i tried with monitor settings as well. u know what, this computer when it came to me it was fine. couple of days ago i formatted it and installed OS, from then it's like this. i'm sure it's in software not hardware. any way thanks for ur advice, i'll try agian and give u feed back.
