Monitor mail, to, from,# of messages

Are there exchange utilities or third party utitilies that allow you to monitor the number,direction,internal vs external by user and entire system?
Thanks in advance for any help.
 
You can have some indication when using Mailbox Manger.
The other things you want are very close to violation of privacy, so be very sure you are covered before you do that!

The primary need for this information is to track messages that appear to be delivered to the exchange server but the user does not recieve the e-mail. I've tryed using the message monitor but it doesnot track all messages. If there is configuration issue that will improve the message tracking ability I would very much like to know about it.

How do you know they really are delivered?
 
Looking at the logs for the spam filter all indications are that the transaction was completed successfully.
 
If you turn on full tracking (during a testphase) and/or the journal, you should be able to see the messages go through, or not.
The only alternative is to open every singel mailbox, but if the users does not get it, neither will you.
While testing make sure to test with a similar message the user claims not to receive, you mention spamfilter ... could it be the one stopping it?
