tried severl different monitors and outlets, my monitor, does not turn on? I hear the pc, turn on, fan, and powe supply kick in, NO monitor shows up, it does not even look like it picks it up, and recgonizes it.

I tried following:
Replaced AGP display monitor card.
Tried different Power Supplys.

No such luck, what does this sound like, motherboard fried, any suggestions?

At this point it could be any of a number of issues.
We need your help by listing what you have in the way of parts, the motherboard info, all add-in cards.

Have you tried a different monitor? Can your borrow one from someone or take your pc to someone and use their monitor?
Check all connections and make sure the sliding red button at the back is set to 115. Sorry, have to mention this as it has happened!

Actually, i only think i know what you are saying. I think you are saying that your pc turns on but you get nothing on the monitor.
Anyway, a list of items that make up your pc would be helpful as well.

I tried other monitors, and other outlets, not luck< not near pc now, any suggestions.

SO let me see if I understand what you are saying. Your PC has no video but seems to turn on, you have tried a different agp card, and power supply and different monitor? right? And so I will assume you tried your monitor on a different PC, If not, then try it, It will most likely work ok. Well if the machine was working before and nothing has been added, other then trying a power supply and agp card, most likely problem is the motherboard, power supply and fans running, are not indications that the system is getting far enough in post to start the display.

Does your mobo have built-in video? If it does, you may have to disable it to get a plug-in card to work. Thats probably not the case if you have an AGP video card, but some older systems had this problem.

I try not to let my ignorance prevent me from offering a strong opinion.

Any beeps from the system speaker when machine is booting up?

If you have replaced the video card, replaced the PSU, and the monitor checks out ok, that only leaves the motherboard. Try resetting the BIOS back to defaults, and try reseating the memory module(s).

The only other thing I can suggest at this point is to get hold of an old PCI video card and see if you get a display with that...

i cannot even get to BIOS, i cannot see anything on my screen, i replaced, power supply, monitors, diff, aGP cards, no video, i think motherboard, fried, could the system fan, do this?

No beeps, or anything, cannot see asnything.

You don't need to be able to "see" the BIOS on screen to reset it. There will usually be a jumper on the motherboard marked "CMOS CLR" (CMOS CLEAR) or something similar. If not, again with the machine switched off, remove the battery for a couple of minutes.

Assuming the system speaker is connected and working, no beeps at all suggests either a dead motherboard or a dead CPU.

As to how a motherboard could become fried, who knows... It would be unlikely that a system fan could cause this to happen, but if the fan was faulty or it shorted out the 12v supply from the motherboard, then that's a possibility. The 12v terminals on the motherboard for system fans do have current limitations. So pulling too much power through these connections could damage the motherboard circuitry.
