Hi.

I am having monitor issues. When I power up th PC the monitor makes a noise like it wants to turn on, but won't. The green power light is on. I then hooked up another monitor with a different cable and the same thing happened. The power is there, but nothing is displayed. I can conclude that its not the monitor and cable. Do you think it could be the video card?
Thanks and Regards!
Vince

That would be a pretty good guess, esp. if 2 monitors don't work. I'd test the first monitor on another pc. If it works, you know your video card has died.

Hold the power button on the PC for 5 seconds. It sounds like the machine is stuck in Hibernate mode, or standby. This probably was caused by a power shortage.
I did a "No Boot" service call, and resolved it in 20 seconds!
