I have a VS 19" monitor that drops video after 10-15 seconds, I've tested this on 3 systems and the issues follow along to each (servers on a KVM, and 2 laptop systems)
I have checked and lowered resolution along with refresh rates etc.
Any ideas other than toss it?

Probably the inverter is going out on you... means either repair, or get a new one, they are pretty cheap these days...

repairing can be just as costly as getting a new one, with TFT's getting cheaper and cheaper these days, hardly a viable option anymore...

has this inverter for your screen:

At $79.99 it's half the price of an entirely new screen:

So I would agree with Ben, time for a new monitor.

PS There's no guarantee that the new inverter would solve the problem...
