Hi,

We have a Linksys RV082 at our head office and Linksys RV042 at our branches. The sites are connected via gateway to gateway VPN's. I want to configure some network monitoring software (preferably free) to email me if one of the VPN tunnels goes down. The software should be installed at the head office ideally on our SBS 2008 server.

Does anyone know of anything that'd do the trick? I've looked at OpManager but the installer just doesn't seem to like my SBS box.

Thanks all.

Hi North,

Yeah I've had a look at Nagios. The only problem we have is that it needs to be running on it's own box and the MD won't pay for any new hardware.

I was hoping for a windows based program that would install directly on our SBS server.

Thanks though. If you can think of anything else it'd be appreciated.
