monitor for keypress

This may be a little hard to do, but I want to monitor for a keypress. By this, I mean that you can trap the keypress when the delphi application does not have focus, e.g. you can be using MS Word (with the Delphi application minimized), press ctrl + t, and the delphi application will launch another application.

Is this possible to do? Any point in the right direction is appreciated.
