Monitor File space

Hello,

We have some users dumping large files on network drives, are there any utilites to see the size of the files and user accessing the files. All network shares are on Windows 2000/2003 Servers

TreeSize is a great little tool to identify and evaluate disk usage. You can download it here:


However, this will not give you information on WHO is accessing teh directory/file.

You COULD setup auditing on the directories you want to monitor for user access, though. This will log events into the Event Viewer.
