I have a Geforce FX 5900 Ultra with a Sony CPD420GS monitor. Lately I have noticed when I'm starting up windows or I am going to display properties and clicking the advanced tab, my monitor flickers (goes black and then comes back to normal). I checked my monitor Properties and it was showing a default monitor. I installed a driver from online directly from the Sony website and that worked for a while but it's not digitally signed and is for Win98. I can't find an WinXP driver for this monitor. This never used to be an issue until recently. I can get the driver to work for about a day until it somehow goes back to the default monitor. Anyone had this problem in general or with this particular monitor or video card? Any suggestions?
