I do charity work, put computers together out of donated parts and they go to schoolkids who dont have one at home.
In the course of this i have on hand an Apple 15" monitor. It only has 2 rows of pins on the connector and the connector is wider than the connector for a pc.

Is there a converter available for these so i can convert the monitor for use on a pc?
If there is such a converter, what would the name of it be so i can hunt one down, perhaps on the net.

thanks

As it turns out, i looked thru my box of converters and found one that fits. There wouldnt be another purpose for that converter, would there? The one end fits the mac monitor and the other end is male, 3 rows of pins.
In other words, they dont make another convertor like that, do they, for another purpose?

I also found a similar converter, same on the mac end but instead of 3 rows of pins its 3 rows female. Where would that one be used?

Thanks again for the help and info!
