I have found out some information about this.
It has been determined that the problem stemmed from a memory leak in the page pool from applying Windows 2000
SP4. The fix has been tested at some customer sites and has resolved the problem each time. Upon release, the fix can be found in Q825237.
If anyone hears of anything else please share.
