MOM 2005 Reporting Console Problem

Hi,
I am trying to install MOM 2005 Report Console. See my environment settings;
Windows 2003 server with sp1
MOM 2005 Workgroup edition with sp installed
SQL Server 2000 std edition installed with sp3
SQL Reporting Services installed
Local SQL Server instance
Everything on one system

During installation of MOM 2005 Reporting service, i get following error:

Page- - MOM Database Server Instance ? (Server\Instance)

When i put 'MOMSRV' in above, it says
Invalid Microsoft Operations Manager database version

When i put local in above, it says
Setup was unable to contact database server

Pls help.
