MOH not clear on SV8100 ATT Uverse

MOH fades in and out or has a Wooshing sound over the music. only found this on ATT uverse converting to a PRI. have several other site that use COX as provider and We do not have this issue.
tried using the external source on CPU and the changed over to a EPGDU with no changes to problem.
 
Without knowing your entire set up, a wild guess, Codec mismatch?
 
will contact ATT today to see if they would check to see if they are set for G.711
 
read the specs on the system and convert a real cd, (not MP3) use VLC media player to convert and either upload it to the system or use mp3 player,.,. Classical music is a no no.,best results are for MOH are always music in background with a human voice saying some kind of message for the caller. Digital communications is geared to the human voice and music will be filtered out as background noise especially when listening over a cell phone, the Uverse is voip and probably not geared to convert background noise to 1s and Zeros. Uncompressed music is the very best way to combat the issue converted with VLC so you know how its actually compressed.
