Hello,

I've uploaded a MOH file into our MXe as an embedded source. Now, is it possible to limit the MOH media file to play only for the calls placed on hold by the receptionists? In other words, I want to prevent local calls within the PBX (ext to ext) to hear MOH when placed on hold.

Thanks

Ron

MXe but what type of system? MiVoice, SX200?

I would think you can do this using Tenanting via Form 19: Call Rerouting Table in a SX200 AX. Not sure if you can with the MXe.

If this is a true console (5550, MiVB Console) then I don't think so.

I've found that consoles dont properly follow the tenanting MOH.

I'd be interested to hear the reasoning for wanting this.

Appreciate the responses.

PBX is MiVoice Business v7.2.x. I still think of it as a ICP 3300 or MXe.

We do have a 5550 console.

So, is tenanting possible? If so, are there any gotcha's to the end user?

I'm trying to get as much understanding as possible when I discuss with my business partner.

Thanks

Ron

Tenanting is possible but based on my experience will be a waste of time for a 5550 console.

Especially when you consider the 5550 is no longer supported as of rel 8.0
