MOH Issue

Magix R2.2 w/MM R3.0 - incoming outside calls hear MOH when placed on hold but internal calls (ext. to ext.) hear nothing. Dead silence. Tranfer is set to Type: Audible; Ring: MusicOnHold. I make all changes thru winSPM since I'm 1000 miles away from the PBX. Merlinman, this is the one I questioned you on. All suggestions will be appreciated.
 
MOH works for Inbound calls only, not on internal calls.

Thanks Pepperz. I wasn't sure since I don't have the day-to-day hands on to the switch. Strange that the people swear they had it before.
 
Well, there you go, some people are just strange. Actually people swear they had or have lots of stuff untill they try to show you, then it all comes out.

I had a customer tell me their MOH stopped working out of the blue. When I went out on-site after dialing in to make sure it was all set-up correctly, I noticed they didn't even have a music source. Pretty hard to have moh without a source.
 
There is always the possibility that someone stole it, if it was a portable cd player or an mp3 player... that has happened to me..
