Since I can not seem to get the CP to cooperate loading a WAV file or even converting it so that I can load it into the CCR I am looking at a way to play the WAV file on my PC or Laptop plug a headset cable into the outgoing audio port on the PC and then send the audio into the VM system that way. I was thinking about using an analog handset or ATA or connecting this to the handset leads of a digital set and then logging into F983 and loading it that way.

I have played it over the speakers right into the handset but the audio quality is lacking. Has anyone got a good way to do this? If I am not clear about what and how I want to do this please let me know. This is for a professionally recorded CCR script for the AA.

Thank you!

This probably isn't what you want to hear but we spent close to 15 hours trying to get that exact same thing to work... we had multiple tech's that have worked with Nortel for 20 + years try different approaches with no luck... Now we're looking at a new system. So if you find a way let me know.

i bought an adapter from sandman for this. works perfectly.

Hey Jsaad, could you tell us a little more about the adapter

Thanks buddy, I look forward to telling my boss's I found a solution!!!

You need to install the Desktop software that is on the CD.
Once installed you will find Call Pilot Player program used to convert WAV to VBK files.
Once the wavs are converted then use the import feature from the Call Pilot programming browser.

Wav files must be recorded as:
Bit rate 8 khz
Audio sample size = 16 bit
Channels - 1(mono)
Audio Format -PCM

If the file is already recorded then open the wav and re save it with the above settings......if the Import feature does not like the file then use another program to re save it as not all programs do well.

I found Roxio wav player works great.
