I'd like to throw in my chip for Mozilla as well. It has every security feature you'd like to have in the box, no additional stuff needed. And tabbed browsing is really fun (I understand that IE has it now, or will have soon - so that should no longer be a plus for Mozilla).
Mozilla warns me when a site tries forcing a download without my permission (what kind of idiot make THAT possible in HTML ??). It allows me to block popups selectively. It allows me to manage my cookies correctly. And, most importantly, it is not subject to all those ActiveX hacks and holes.
Mozilla also allows me to decide if and when I want to see all those annoying Flash animations.
And, when I finally decided that I wanted to do something about those Ad pages that display on web sites, I easily found a plugin for Mozilla that allows me to selectively manage which sites I wish to allow viewing, and which ones I want to ban. Generic * is allowed in the definitions too.
In other words, Mozilla gave me exactly the web surfing experience I wanted. Of course, to do my online banking, I thought I had to use IE, but actually I can use Mozilla too.
So I have only one reason to use IE : when I go to FilePlanet and want to download something.
I can live with that.
Pascal.
