Module to Innumberate the drives??? 1

Is there a module that can tell what drives are on the computer and report them back in a list or such? What I want to be able to do is "plug" in a USB drive and know what letter windows assigns to this drive (f:,g:,h:, etc) Also is there a way in telling if it is a removable drive from a python module.

If anyone knows of any such module, please inform me.
