When forwarding messages from one mailbox to another using the Web Client it fails approx. 50% of the time and we get an SMTP error in the logs of the server that the client is using and we get "unable to send. There was no response from the server. (35012)" on the clients screen. It seems like it is getting bogged down somewhere between the MSS and the client but I cannot see where. Everything else works from the client ie. receiving messages, listening etc. Any thoughts?

Need more info. Is the web software running on its own server? is the time in step with the MSS and MAS on the system? Are you also using WSO? and is it working ok?

Web server is on it's own machine, time is all synched from one machine and no Web Subscriber Options. We have eliminated the Exchange and Web Servers as being the problem so it looks like a bus in the MSS SMTP process. Hopefully Avaya can help tomorrow.
