When I try to send a voicemail via Avaya (modular messaging) web client I get a Windows Internet Explorer error "The socket connection failed. (35019)"

Any idea's on how to resolve? Thanks

sounds like a blocked port. Have you checked the time on the websever and the MAS to make sure they are less than one min apart?

The time on MAS and the web server are identical. They synch from the same source. What ports would be blocked? MAS? MSS? Web Server?

It is trying to connect to the MSS so you may not have the ports right in the MSS. Are you sending using a phone or the player/recorder? Try it from the phone and see if that works first

I can forward messaged from my phone. If I use the web client I get the socket error. When I set up the Message Servers what should the port be? I also get an error the the certificate could not be obtained.
