Hello everyone,

Could you please provide me a list of services in the MAS server related to Modular Messaging?

I just need to confirm the list because I need to run some scripts in the server and I dont want to impact Modular messaging services during the script.

Have an excellent day!!!
Kind regards
Goku

It depends on the version of MM and if you have more than one MAS.
Can you provide this information?

Like kepetersen said, it depends greatly on the type of MM system, whether there are multiple MAS servers, and especially what version/build of MM software is running.

5.2 with what backend? And how many MAS servers are in that VMD?

This MAS is connected with exchange server, I just have 1 MAS in the enviroment.

I would check with your MM install guide or the MM administration guide if you need further information.

There may be a few more, but here are some from memory. Not all of them may be running however:
Avaya Spirit
Fax
MM Alarming server
MM Audit Service
MM Call Me Server
MM Event Monitor Server
MM Fault Monitor
MM Fax Sender Server
MM Mailbox Monitor
MM Message Waiting Indicator Server
MM Messaging Application Server
MM Performance Monitor Server
MM Process Monitor Server
MM Service Connector
MM Tracing Server
RealSpeak Host
SQL Server (MMAUDIT)
SQL Server (MMFEDB)
SQL Server Active Directory Helper
SQL Server Browser
SQL Server VSS Writer

If you are using a Dialogic board in the server for integration to the PBX:
CT Bus Broker
DlgPnPObserverService
DM3Config
GammaLink System Service
Intel DebugAngel
Intel Runtime Tracing Dispatcher
Intel Dialogic product Boardserver
Intel Dialogic product System Service

Maybe this is a dumb question but, how can I check if I am using a dialogic board in the server?

If you are using analog, digital or T1/E1 integration, then you are using a Dialogic board. You can also see your form of integration in the VMSC.

Is it typical for CSlog_server to be a memory hog? I have noticed recently one of our MAS (2 in the domain) is running high on memory used - today 92%. MAS2 is running in the low 80s. I also see 2 entries for sqlserver.exe - is that normal?

Are you sure CSlog_server is using up the memory? Typically it is vserver that sometimes eats up memory over time. The service you mentioned I believe is responsible for managing the logs (size, # of, etc). I have seen where that service fails to function properly due to AV (anti-virus) locking some log files that cslog tries to delete.

Yes turns out it may be related to anti-virus sweep - but for now stopping the restarting the services fr CSlog cleared up the memory issue and it was the one hogging it...very large.
