I have the Avaya Modular Messaging 5.2 , I just set the Voicemail to the right class of service to activate email response.
This is not working, researched if needed to stop and start the software option for Modular messaging service.
I'm curious has anyone experienced this issue before. I do have other users email currently working.

Thanks

What do you mean by email response? Do you mean the Call Me feature?

I'm assuming you are using MM 5.2 for Exchange?

Yes I am using MM 5.2 for Exchange, When a voicemail is sent an I don't get email.
This what we normally get for a user example A normal priority voice message was left from Larry2649 Cohen2649 2649 at 8:34:03 AM on 5/15/2013.

If you are not getting voicemails to your Exchange mailbox, that is one issue. The Call Me feature should be kept separately.

So if your issue is that you are not receiving voicemails into your Exchange mailbox... Are you able to leave a voicemail for your number? If so, then either the message is routed somewhere else (some other mailbox, or perhaps some other folder in your mailbox), or it is not able to be delivered to Exchange.

Check the spool folder to see if there are files listed there. I would also check the application event log of the MAS (assuming you have just 1 MAS) to see if there are errors there complaining it couldn't deliver to Exchange (assuming the MAS is online with Exchange).

I will check I do have a few users that are receiving there voicemail in email per example.

Microsoft exchange 2010, I was told server on remote site in Michigan pure SMTP.
I was going to use the Log options on Avaya Modular messaging maybe to trace.

Your thoughts.

Thank you.
