I have a user that is getting 99998 from time to time when another extension calls them and leaves a message. The person who is getting the message just hears the recorded greeting of the person who called and not the message they left. I looked at subscriber activity and saw that in the list of messages for a week time period, 99998 shows up all the times when they are hearing the recorded greeting instead of a message. What would cause that? Is there a certain place in the MSS that I can go to and find out why this is happening? Thanks.

Is this number a system mailbox? MM 5.x go to Messaging Administration, Messaging Attributes for the system mailbox designates.
