im working on a weird problem with a nortel mod dr5 they appeared to be having power problems and i put a ups system on line before the phone system now 3 weeks later the system appears to be rebooting the displays go blank for a few seconds then come back up. the system has a trunk exp unit and a station exp unit and voice mail this is not a fiber unit but the hard wire unit. thanks for any help in advance.

My experience has been that when 824 systems start rebooting it is a motherboard problem and the system is on its last legs. I'd recommend replacing the control unit.
