Modular 8 Pin Connectors

I am needing a mechanical drawing that shows WHY we use solid conductor modular ends on solid wire and why we use stranded modular connectors on stranded wire.
I KNOW WHY, but I need some sort of illustration that is real professional looking to help me illustrate the point to students.
I have drawn one out that works for me, but the new people aren't grasping the concept very well.
Yes I know there are "universal" but this company does not use them and that is why the illustration is needed.

I know I've seen some great diagrams in L-Com's Product Catalog. Go to there website and request one. I think you'll find what youre looking for.

I have seen that too, it shows the differences in how the contacts attach to the wire. jeff moss
