Hi,
I receive automated emails informing me of current system alarms. I then have a rule setup that checks content and forwards important emails to a distro list. I would like to also forward the critical emails to pagers; however, the format of the body is not something that is presentable on a pager. How can I automatically cut out some of the text in the body of the email before I send it out? IE..

Data1 Data2 Data3 Data4 Data5 Data6.....

changed to

Data1 Data3 Data5.

I have a good understanding of how to transform the text. Where I'm stuck is how to apply the code to incoming emails. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

have you got code that loops through your mailbox and reads the contents of each mail item?

There is a new mail event. You can put your code in there and it will run on every email you receive. Be Mindfull that you are only change the text for your critical emails though.
