Modifying Kill Celebrity Applets

Everyone has seen the "Kill Bill Clinton" or "Kill Brittney Spears" java applets, I was wondering if I could modify picture of the person your killing i.e. put my picture there instead of Bill Clintons. How difficult would this be to do.... Can you tell me how to do it, I know very little about java.
