Modifying ArcServe 2K job kills Arcserve

Running ArcServe 2K on Win2K. Whenever I attempt to modify a job, ArcServe shuts down when I press the Submit button. No error message, just a 10 second pause then it shuts down. The job runs fine every night, but cannot add or remove files.
I've run all the db maintenance utilities that are included with ArcServe, no problem found.

Anyone run into this before?

Which Service Pack are you at? By looking at the Arcserve 2000 patches (

I notice that both SP4 and at least one subsequent patch addess problems related to backup job modification.

Thanks mfircam, I never loaded SP4 because of all the problems there seemed to be with it. I will load it now, hopefully this will resolve the issue.
