modifying an image 1

HI, I scanned in an image of a stitch and I am using that stitch as an outline around my text. The straight lines are ok because the stitch was straight when I scanned it but when the font is rounded, I can't round the stitch. Is there a way to do this in photoshop? I don't want to rotate it or anything just want it curved or rounded smoothly! Please help!
