This is also posted in Access forum but I thought maybe a Sybase guru might have the answer as well.
Okay, what I've got is a stored procedure on our sybase server. Right now it is hard coded. I want to use variables and allow the user to select what variable and how many variables to use. I am setting up an access form to allow the users to do this(probably by check boxes, or radio buttons)In order to do this, I need to be able to comment out lines of code in the stored procedure on the fly as users select what variable to use. I will also need to replace text(such as "house_code=@house_code" to "house_code IN (@house_code)" etc. Does anyone know how to replace or modify exsisting procedure code through VBA? I can connect to the server and hit tables, I'm just not sure about procedures, or the syntax to replace or modify text. I'm also not entirely sure I know how to take the input from the user and insert it into the stored procedure. Thanks for any help you can give. I'm STUCK!
