Modify links for you webpart

Hi

I am using the "linksforyou" webpart to display some links on the homepage.
I need to change the webpart to be able to open links in a new window.

This webpart is a default sharepoint webpart.
But is there a way to modify the look and feel for this web part?

I saw a schema.xml file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\web server extensions\60\TEMPLATE\1033\SPS\LISTS\WPLIB. Can this be
used to customize this "Links foryou" webpart?
