Need to modify fields in reports as info is being cutoff and not printed...

any help..

The report generator in ACT! is a holdover from earlier versions and is not the friendliest to use, however you can play with it as long as you rename your report first, that way you'll always have an original copy to work from.

Assuming you are at least in v4.x or later, (It hasn't changed much since v.3.x) you have the ability to add or modify any field that is available from the database. The Knowledgebase has a few good articles on some of the basic tools, they are essentially the same for designing layouts, with a few more options.

As long as your original templates are backed up, go ahead and play! You'll learn more from messing around for an hour than you will trying to find something to read. The online help will be enough to get you started if the tools are unfamiliar.

Hello Fillid,
In design view if you double click on the field that is being truncated you will get to the properties for that field.

Once there put a check mark in "wrap Text"

Hope this helps,

Michael
