We have a situation that requires a scripting solution of some sort, and I need some help figuring it out.

We have a Web Portal where users can enter their email addresses so that they can receive mail from us. My boss wants me to get those email addresses into Exchange as Contacts so that their addresses can be accessed through Outlook. Is there a script that will create a contact from an Excel Spreadsheet or CSV file? Just as important: Is there a way to update existing contacts when the users update their email addresses.

I can get the information out of the Web Portal easy enough. Getting into Exchange is another matter.

Any ideas on this would be appreciated.

Research CSVDE, it allows you to import AD objects from a CSV file. You can create contacts that will fill your needs, but don't forget that then they will be in your GAL. You may want to hide the contacts so your users don't get confused.
