Modified signature and now grey box appears above 1

I use Outlook 2003. I had a graphical signature and all was well. I added something new to it and now every email I send has a grey box right above the signature, that I have to delete before sending as it looks bad.

Is this a security issue? If I fix my security, will the receipients still get this issue?
